Well, I ordered one at 1613 and my order is showing "unknown status". It did this last week and it took them 4 days to process my card transaction - they claimed "a lot of fraud in my area" but the credit card provider said it was OcUK holding up the transaction, so who knows. If they can't do it for Monday I'll cancel and order an IP35-E elsewhere.
 
BTW, the Card will go through instantly today, its the same with Banks claiming Cheques need days to clear, they can verify it in seconds. (Cousin is Boss in the Halifax, has been there near 20years since it was The Leeds"
 
Yes, the whole "Verified by Visa" thing went fine, and I'm in good standing with the CC company, so it would be interesting to know if they have actually despatched anyone's orders. I think they also despatch Saturday until lunchtime, so it will be interesting to see what they say.
 
I got a shipping confirmation for mine today @ 14.10 with consignment number, and it's "on route to delivery branch" so all good here.
 
No-one knows what the overclocking will be like. Amazing as it may seem, most of the OcUK staff are not computer enthusiasts - some of them have lives and at least one is rumoured to know a female that's not his mum.;)

I very much doubt that OcUK have committed massively to the Chinese manufacturer at this stage. If they get some good results courtesy of the early adopters then they'll commit more I would imagine, if not then they've sold a few motherboards at a small profit.

I test motherboards as a hobby. Pretty sad I know, but these are P35 and from examination of the manual it looks like it has all the right options in the BIOS to be a very good overclocker indeed. I am a little concerned about the wimpy chipset cooling, but I won't know if that's justified or not until I test it.

The bottom line here is I'm prepared to be a guinea-pig, and if it works I'll keep it. I do need a motherboard for Monday though guys if you want me to test it on New Years Day.

That was my thinking too, I need a Penryn happy replacement board and the P5N32-SLI+ won't do the new 45nm quads. So if this works out as a good clocker, then bonus - if not I'll sell both boards and get the Abit flavour. No love lost, and a bit of fun along the way. :D

I think you guys may want to sort this out ASAP before you loose to many orders !

Oh dear. I did at least manage to get mine with Monday 31st December as the delivery date.

Overclockers got a time machine and can send it to the past? but how will we get it :)
