Do you guys believe in email advertising to get rich quick?

Mrs. Feek was given a letter from one of my cousins about a similar scheme but involving chocolate.

The idea being that you send the person at the top of the list a bar of chocolate and forward the letter to five of your friends, etc etc.

Being a girl, and knowing how much girls love chocolate, we had a giggle about it and decided to do it.

She sent off a bar of chocolate and gave the letter and list of names (removing the top one and moving the second to the top, etc etc) to five female family members.

And waited.

And waited.

And waited.

Nothing happened.

So we waited some more.

Still nothing.

She never received anything at all.

If a scheme like this doesn't work with women and chocolate, you can guarantee that it's not going to work with money at all. Ever.

He said something about you pay 10 euros to some guy on a list and then you start at number 5 then the guy moves up higher and then pays you 10 and every keeps paying each other and you end up raking in tens of thousands each month.

Everyone pays eachother then sooner or later you are all raking in tens of thousands? SCAM!

Contrary to all the above posts, this is not a pyramid scheme.

It's multi-level marketing.

Long story short, it's the same bloody thing. The subtle difference is that instead of people sending you 10 euros on the premise of getting loads of money, they send you 10 euros to buy your stupid ebook. As you're actually selling a legitimate product (even if it is ebooks on how to make money in multi-level marketing schemes selling ebooks on how to make money in multi-level marketing schemes selling ebooks on how to make money in multi-level marketing schemes...) it's perfectly legal.

The powers that be are keeping an eye on MLM schemes and will probably crack down on them at some point.

Apparently it works with men and penises.

As mentioned that is the pyramid scheme and it just doesn't work because the number of people required grows so large so quickly you'll eventually run out of people on earth to carry it on.

I don't think anybody is actually saying it is illegal - however it is a scam and anybody who thinks that you can simply make lots of money spending 30 minutes a day really is....
Call it multi-level marketing, this is just the legal name for a pyramid scheme (mainly because the Pyramid scheme is illegal).
I can call a pile of crap manure - it still stinks to high heaven.

Wheres this link then you pro, oh it annoys me how people post oin here and still dont belive everyone! Not one person has said this is going to work.

You have no proof of how much his bank acocunt reads, so how can you possibly say its real.

He dosnt know you or care about you, hense why he will say things like this to lure you in and take your money, happily. Its like those people on the bay selling Xbox 360 cases for £200, people not reading properly think its an official Xbox 360 console and buy it. They dont care who they hurt or whos money they take aslong as they get the money in the end, and to be honest, he may well have made that money, but by scamming idiots like you.

Im a millionaire and i live in space. My dog floats around and eats the moon which is made from cheese! I drive an Aston Martin (Saw one last night and wow!!!) which i paid for using this scheme u want to use.

I wrote that so do you belive it?

Pro.

James.

Well, people are calling it a pyramid scheme, which is illegal. I'm just pointing out that it's not a pyramid scheme, so it's not illegal.

No, the two are distinct, because as I said in an MLM scheme, products actually change hands.

Now that I can definitely agree with.

I doubt you can make the distinction based on the facts we have.

From Wiki:

The key distinction between these schemes and legitimate MLM businesses is that in the latter cases a meaningful income can be earned solely from the sales of the associated product or service to customers who are not themselves enrolled in the scheme. While some of these MLM businesses also offer commissions from recruiting new members, this is not essential to successful operation of the business by any individual member. Nor does the absence of payment for recruiting mean that an MLM is not a cover for a pyramid scheme. The distinguishing characteristic is whether the money in the scheme comes primarily from the participants themselves (pyramid scheme) or from sales of products or services to customers who aren't participants in the scheme (legitimate MLM).

If the eBook is solely about the scheme (and I think it's highly likely that it will be) then it's a pyramid scheme. Simply because a product is involved does not mean it's not a pyramid scheme.

Consumer Direct agrees.

Just look at the email, it's seems fairly clear that the aim is to recruit new members. The fact that it mentions a list where you substitute names and have to give it to 5 people, etc, mean the product is simply a front.

In my opinion the court would find this was a pyramid scheme and thus illegal.

MLM can be a type pyramid scheme as well (like it is in this case). The "product" in most cases is merely to get round illegal pyramid schemes (where no product is exchanged).

hahaha damn this forum cracks me up on times with the pictures :D "its a tarp" lol and the soap in the shower picture hhahaha.

anyone back to the thread hehe, yeh its just some guy claiming to make you rich when infact all he's doing is lining his own pockets, if it was that simple to make money would'nt everyone be doing it and if everyone was the internet would be so slow with all the spam e-mails everyone was sending out hehe.

If you want to get rich quick, rob a bank, then bet everything on red, then spend it all on lottery tickets, if you win move to monaco to evade the tax man, simple really :D
