Sony KDL32T3000 - Or Other 32" Sets?

I've tried to google this but can't find any information on it other than the specs. My Dad is after a new 32" screen but my knowledge on Tvs is pretty rubbish. Is the Sony KDL32T3000 any good, or are there better ones out there?

£600 is the budget - under is better

The Panasonic TX32LXD70 is arguably the best 32" tv and can be had for £599.00, sounds ideal for you

Didn't know you could get it at that price!

Alternatively, the Sony 32D3000 is also one of the best. A quick price comparison search showed £640.

How do those guys stack up against the Samsung LE32R88BD which seems to be everywhere at £500?

Sorry, that was a bit of a harsh statement. But in terms of those models, then it applies. Then again, some people would rather save the extra money if the TV is not that much better.

but Sony >>>>>>> Samsung in terms of price

they are better overall, but the percentage increase in quality is no way proportional to the percentage increase in price

if you just want the best TV for your size, and dont bother how much it costs, Get the Sony, if you find yourself thinking that perhaps the sony seems a bit much, you'll be more than happy with a samsung. (says the samsung owner)
