360 borked ! - Not 3 red lights though....

Hi,

second time now, and the 360 turns on as normal but there is no display at all. I can hear the sound as it boots up and connects to live but still no picture.

Tried a spare VGA cable and both component and composite and all the same so thinking it's the 360. Did happen last week but was ago when i tried 30 mins later. Think the living room might be too warm, so have turned the heating off and left the door open to get some cool air flowing.

Anyway it is about 18 months old, worth calling micrsoft about it ?
 
Thanks, well good news i just called microsoft and the lady was very friendly and helpful.

They are going to repair it :) just waiting for an email with the delivery information then call DHL to get it arrange but i won't have to pay anything.

I did ask about the warrenty and she said my expires aug 2008 ?? The sticker at the back says May 2005 so dunno where she got that date from !

Oh well, just 2 / 3 weeks to wait hopefully. Strange thing is she wants me to also send my PSU ?
 
ah cool gonna give them a call monday then, did you mention the fault specifically or just that it had broke? I looked at the terms for the 3yr warranty and it states that it only covers RROD. :confused:
 
Hmm, if its not got the rrod fault, and its out of the one year warranty then i dont see MS repairing it for free.
