Babies...

Generally I can't stand children, especially when their parents let them run around shops out of control shouting, crying and generally being a complete nuisance. Only the other day I was in Homebase listening to some kid scream 'MUMMY!' constantly. I think they were following me around on purpose!

Very unlikely I'd be able to have children anyway, so I guess it's good I don't like them :D

Apparently a babies cry is designed to get on your nerves hugely so that you attend to the babies need.

This is fine until you reach a situation where somebody elses snivelling brat is crying in a shop.

Sometimes they do that purely for selfish attention-seeking, and if its ignored they may continue for a while. Just ignore it or move away?

The ones that get me the worst are the ones constantly bawlling in the shops and when you actually see the kid, its walking around bawlling and there isnt even a tear in its eyes. Its just an attention seeking piece of **** that needs a good hiding so its really got something to be crying about.

You like your car becuase of the way it so ideally suits your lifestyle. Your lifestyle would be different without kids.

People without kids don't long for the day when they can drive a diesel Renault Megane Scenic with fold-flat seats and a 5 star NCAP baby safety rating.

I don't drive a diesel nor a renault :p

I'm still amazed there are so many intolerant people in the world. It saddens me it really does. All the people trying to score an extra point on the internet, wow.

:( I hope you're just being tongue in cheek with that.

Ah yea I remember, a Mazda5. Decent cars but you still wouldnt have one without kids so point still stands :D

Well Cliff has a nice car, I love driving that :D I plan to get myself a nice little sports car at some point too :D Yes I drive this one for the kids but I can still have my own too. Just don't mention carbon footprints :p

Well then good for you for being well off enough to do that.
Im not on about the scroungers who claim housing benefit food stamps, etc etc, but I dont think you can give all children the same "scum" label.

He can when he's speaking with impunity on the Internet from the top of his pristine tower that is entirely devoid of children.

If a kid can't behave itself in public it should be left at home with a grandparent or someone else so it doesn't get on my nerves.

If there is nobody to leave it with, can I suggest http://www.tesco.com/grocery/ for home deliveries.

And as for young kids in restaurants or on a plane. That is just unforgivable. Waste of time, like they'll remember a holiday at the age of 12 months anyway.

Single child or in a family though? Personally I don't take my children away on holiday when they young as it is a lot of hassle and they won't remember it/enjoy it. I always get online shopping when I can, far easier. Not everyone has grandparents to leave their children with though, we are lucky enough to have my parents here a lot but not all are.

Leaving them with a relative isn't always an option. You want them to put their lives on hold then? Thats exactly what you lot complained about earlier. Can't win it seems...

Am I the only one that thinks babies (Yes, human babies) are the most disgusting and horrible creatures on this planet? They make me feel ill, I shudder with disgust everytime I see one. How can anyone think they are cute? They're so GOD DAMN UGLY it's untrue! And the crying, the constant incessant crying...arrgghhh horrible horrible horrible KILL THEM WITH FIRE!

+1

I couldn’t agree more.

Yeah, lucky for you the world revolves around you while the sun shines out of your arse.

Apologies if this post gets on your precious nerves.

For all those who are moaning about kids crying in the streets for attention.

How about you look at your fellow childless adults, the ones who get drunk and end up shouting abuse? The ones shouting abuse while sober? The ones talking on their mobile phones as they walk down the street? The idiots in their "loud" cars?

There are many many more examples of annoying sounds from people in this world. At least from a child it has a purpose and a reason.

It astounds me how many selfish posts there have been in this thread.

I can wake up in the morning to have my son waiting at the side of the bed with a huge smile on his face and he tells me he loves me. Take any car, any pc even any woman and nothing will beat that.

Raising a child well is the single greatest achievement any person can hope to achieve. If in doubt go and ask your parents.
