I came across some spoilers for this  and it looks like the two top bouts were great.:)

No spoilers, I've seen it comments or anything like that before it's shown on Bravo please.

Tonight on Bravo, 9pm I think.

I will be watching and the results are just what I expected for the two main fights.

I think after the beating Chuck got from Keith it really made him take this serious and that he is not untouchable. GSP trains just to beat Matt, which is why he won and I doubt he will beat Serra.

Lyoto Machida dominated that, it could have ended much... much quicker than it did.

I think everyone was expecting much more from Sokoudjou after what he's done in Japan.

Really enjoyed the opening fight of Rich Clementi Vs. Melvin Guillard, it doesn't look like their fued has ended at all.

*snip*

I take it you missed the part of *NO SPOILERS UNTIL IT'S SHOWN ON BRAVO* :-/

Thanks for that, I now know who wins the main events :(

wha a show, the chuck - silva fight was amazin, the last half of the 2nd round was nuts :O

great event, wasnt one fight that was poor.

I know. Muppit.

Really dissapointed with Hughes mach. I new he wouldnt win, but I really was hoping he would. JSP is a great guy though, and a very talented athelete.
And the Chuck fight. WOW what a fight that was, I was on edge all throughout. Really imprest with his performance.

Just finished watching this.

Firstly, fair play to Chuck. I was expecting Wandy to walk all over him but that wasn't the case. How much of this is down to Wandy's decline in the last 12 months or so is hard to say, but much respect to Chuck. Good win.

And I am SO glad GSP dominated Hughes on the ground this time. Hughes comes across as arrogant to me (especially after the last series of The Ultimate Fighter) so to see GSP totally destroy him was great.

I was also very disappointed in Sokoudjou. I was expecting a great deal more. I was always more a Pride fan than UFC but the Pride fighters don't seem to be cutting it (Rampage aside).

I thought GSP's display was brilliant, the way he completely thrashed Matt Hughes at his own game was priceless and I think Hughes knows that he can never beat GSP now, so he'll probably retire. As for his upcoming fight with Serra, he'll walk all over him and take his deserved place as champion again.

Wanderlei Silva looked like another Pride fighter struggling in the Octagon, but it was good too see Chuck back on form again.

Soukadjou looked like another banger with no ground skills whatsoever, so he needs to get some serious training done.

SWEET win for GSP - totally and utterly dominated Matt hughes and looked amazing. Just shows that i do beleive that his loss to serra was a fluke one.

Liddell v Silva not that best fight ever but both swinging for the fences and silva totally gassed in the last round.

Nice ankle lock by Matt Gamburian (TUF5 contestant) in one of the pre show fights - broken leg for his opponent!! Not sure if that one was shown on Bravo but was on the american broadcast.

WOAH, did you see what GSP did when hughes was holding from the bottom, where GSP kept slamming his head...funny yet painful.

The amazing thing about GSP is he is not ignorant or shys away from mistakes and areas to improve, after each loss he comes back better. I feel he will beat Serra.

Chuck did an amazing job, that Silva can take a beating and then some! He finally took it serious this time.

Not looking forward to next UFC - poor fight card!

Cracking evening of fights that. Only dissapointment was that bloke with a 10' reach advantage getting completely outboxed and hugging non stop.

Was quite surprised with the Chuck fight as i'd heard a lot about Silva, don't forget that Chuck has had 2 very bad performances recently so neither were "in form". Superb chin from Wanderlei and he needed it as i don't think he coped at all with Chucks reach.

GSP as usual looks complete class, love watching him fight, not a fan of Hughes at all but he was very dignified in defeat.

Looking forward to UFC80 and another of my favourite fighters BJ Penn.

Sorry.. A fluke? Haha.. ok.
I do not belive in flukes in a fight. If you get cought with a good punch your in for some trouble, you go out punching, intending to hurt your opponent. Theres no flukes about it.

Maybe not the best fight ever, but its been the best fight I've seen in the UFC in while imo. :).

Yeah I really enjoyed the Liddell and Silva fight. I've seen better, but that certainly was the best fight I've seen in a long, long while in the UFC.

Always good when the crowd get really into it as well, it gives it that little bit more excitement.

Serra isn't in the same league as GSP, Matt Hughes or BJ Penn, but he got his big chance and caught GSP and I think if he fought either of those three, his shortcomings will be exposed and his reign will last for exactly one fight, so some people would say that was a bit of a fluke.

I think the only person who stands a chance with GSP, would be a fully trained and motivated BJ Penn, providing he would be prepared to come up a weight again.

I know he isnt in the same league as him, but I would in no way call that punch a fluke. Imo you can't fluke a fight. You go out intending to hurt the guy. It wasnt just one punch Serra landed it was a fair few that took him out.
JSP is a great fighter though, and he is the future of the light welterweight division without a doubt.

funny that dana etc said it would not go to the judges..

but well done chuck, i backed Wanderlei myself but clearly big gut man had the beating of him all along!

still a good event, not sure who's on the next card but i still have plenty of old pride to watch to keep me going!
