What is AOL's FUP : Gb per month wise?

Yeah its 10 or 40gb depending on what package you go on, and theres the peak times of the FUP to contend with as well, so you don't get full speeds all the time, you only get about 60k or something during the peak times (i did hear about half 4/5 to midnight or something mentioned somewhere for those).

How does this "Wireless" and "Wireless Plus" thing equate to the "old" description of packages?.

I'm on the "Platinum" 8Mb at £24.99 or £19.99 pm ( can't recall how much exactly ).

It used to be what the refered to as their "top" package so I would assume I'm on a 40Gb download limit pm going by the above link?.

Same here, i rang them up cause my speed had been caped, found out that they've put me from "unlimited" downloads to 10gb permonth :S not happy

they used to be good , an now its jus gone stupid. Hopefully be switchin soon.
 
I am having the same problems. I told my dad AOL are really sucking atm just get tranfered to talktalk and you can have the net for free.

He rings up somehow convince him to stay with AOL having the same package for 17.99 instead of 24.99.

Now we are getting downloads of 40kbps most of the time :mad:

What can I do I think we are in an 18month contract, can we just ask for our mac code? What will happen?

I understand some1 like o2 chasing you up if you are in a contract and they have sent you a £400 quid phone but what can AOL do and why?

Please help :)

In my opinion there shouldn't be both a FUP and a cap as that's really bad :(

I used to be with AOL for a few years before Carphone Warehouse took over and apart from the useless customer service, the speeds were okay back then and truly unlimited as well.

I wouldn't touch AOL with a bargepole now especially with their 2 year contracts :eek:
