Me and my girlfriend broke up over the weekend which rather sucks! Had been going out for just over 18 months and was my first relationship. Just kinda tough getting over her really any advice would be appreciated, im just trying to look on the good side really of having more free time and space!

Definately pull another girl and get wasted (absolutely PERFECT night tonight). Does wonders for your confidence, which girls have a habit of leaving in tatters

Lol im liking the ideas already, im out tonight for new years with all my mates, and can meet lots new people to hopefully!

Lol as a matter of fact it was a mutual decision... we both tried as hard as we could.. just a break down of communication and stuff!

perfect timing I say I know it sucks now but get wasted and go out on the pull for new years! start as you mean to go on :)

Get out with your mates, have a good time and a few drinks and forget about her.

DO this!

Its what i have always done, its the best idea to be honest, dont dwell, try be doing things all the time and try to block it all out. Best thing really.

Its all experience dude.

Sucks mate! Sorry to hear that, women have more power over us than anything else!

One thing that always helps me is the knowledge that if you had gotten married etc then in 10 years time you would most likely be looking back and regretting it! Go out get drunk (not too drunk ;) ) and forget about her. If there is still something there sometime down the line then perhaps you can give it another try!

just my $0.02

Mike

You've got a whole new year to look forward to now. I know it sounds cliché but time really is the best healer. You'll learn to deal with it in your own way, but it wont be easy. Chin up fella, and have a good night :)

bugger.... i broke up with my gfof 1 yr a week ago too.

mine was on the wall for a while though so not surprised.

still sucks though.... so i went and bought a motorbike as a replacement.

The grass is greener on the other side. It always sucks, especially when you've been going out a long time.

Try to enjoy your new found freedom. Try to resist the temptation of hanging around her, it doesn't make things easier I can tell you.
