anyone tried the new EK pump top/res

I have a petra's top at the moment, and I wonder if the new EK top/res is equally good/better/worse?

Any ideas, charts?

Have got the EK X top fitted to a DDC 1T Pro recently, but not run used it yet as still awaiting some additional components. Hopefully these will be with me this week, and I plan to have it up and running this weekend. Will let know thoughts then.

Won't make any difference if it was any better or worse, the pressure/flow difference between the aftermarket tops aren't significant enough for it to make any difference to the performance of your loop.

My one big concern is drawing air into the loop - the basic EK reservoirs have big issues with vortices forming even with the Rev 2.0 base and the Anti-Cyclon, so I would want every possible precaution following my experience having to put the sponge/foam in the Alphacool reservoir tops.

Yes, having one is worth while over the stock top. There has been reports that delrin DDC pump tops are louder than Acrylic but it's far from proven. I hope not as I have a DDCT-01s top coming into use next week.
