New Years Day Premiership Footy **Spoilers**

Benitez looking all frustrated, well maybe next time you'll play more than 1 striker against a bottom 3 side and then not bring on another until the 82nd minute

heh.

oh that's a shame for derby conceding against bolton. they just aren't quite good enough to catch a break, though at least they compete now.

Didn't take our chances at 1-0 again and this time we couldn't manage the last minute winner. Steve Bennett's a ****, he broke up more of our attacks than the Wigan defence did.

I look at it like this...

Would United have won today? Yes
Would Arsenal have won today? Yes
Would Chelsea have won today? Yes (Albeit via a very lucky/controversial decision)

Nuff said.

be fair though. any defense in the world is going to struggle to contain bramble for 90 minutes...

*edit actually i was told that by a newcastle fan but i think he meant something different at the time.

Not good enough at Anfield. Hate to say it but some of the players just aren't good enough and don't want it enough. Need to have a clearer recruitment policy to get players who can genuinely deliver.

Let's get some of the younger players on more and earlier. Lose Pennant, Kewell, Kuyt, Riise; sign Mascherano on a permanent deal, get cover for the central defence; use Leto, Babel, Aurelio from the start of the game.

Not good enough. :(

Tbh, the way Man City just keep on going and going, i can see Liverpool hard pushed for 4th spot at this rate, could deffo spell the end for Rafa should that happen.
