I refuse to believe dogs don't malt. You're just use to it so can't see it.
Well he does malt, but some breeds malt more than others. The amount mine does it's hardly noticeable, and not just because I don't notice it any more heh.

His other favourite party trick is to run down the stairs whenever anyone is walking downstairs in a slalom kinda way
I've got a 7 month old Boxer that likes doing that. Downright dangerous!
If he's not attempting the slalom then he's trying to bite your feet.
Bloody mutt![]()
My dog malts. It's quite handy really, as I can't be bothered doing all that work with the hops to get it ready for brewing. I just leave him to do the malting while I concentrate on more important things.
Everyone should have a malting dog to help out with home brewing.
That's interesting since it's the kind of rules I'd like to put in place, but my wife isn't convinced that it's possible to do what I want. Do you move the sheet or is it always on the same piece of furniture? If the latter, has he learnt to go on there only when the sheet is there? Our dog is allowed on the furniture in the conservatory but only where his sheet is. Whenever we lay a towel down he's allowed to lie on that.
