I am looking for recommendations for the most stable board to run the 4x2GB OCZ ram as sold by OCUK. I will be using Q6600 Processor and G92 8800GTS 512MB. Corsair 620 PSU. I will not be overclocking as this system will be used for work as well as gaming. I have had bad experiences of DOA boards from Gigabyte and Asus recently. Would ideally like to go with the X38 chipset but using DDR2. Not interested in the boards that support DDR2 and 3. Thanks.

I have the X38-DQ6 with 4x2gb OCZ Platinum (I assume that is the pack you are looking at) with zero problems. Incidentally, also have a GTS512MB and HX620W.

rafster, yes that is the pack I was going to get. Any special settings you running in the bios? did you have any problems getting vista installed? when i had a DS3P I could nor install vista at all. the install disc would not spin up!!!!!

I just set the memory settings as they are on the sticker, gave them 1.9V and I use 9x333 at the moment with a multiplier of 2.40B putting the RAM at stock of 800mhz.

Board is Gigabyte GA-X38-DQ6, now it's the GA-X38T-DQ6 (a new revision, but out of stock)
