hahah! I bet you thought this was a thread about porn! you were wronnnnng!

We recently lost Jaypeg, as some may already know (and care). We decided that we just love to have fluffy things in our lives so we 'adopted' Teagan and Eva (Naomi and Tiddles, I think NOT) from the Blue Cross via Pets at Home (hope that's not a competitor, omglol). We were thinking of asking you lot for naming advice, but it seems we kick ass at naming pets. Say 'awwwww' for T&E:

Eva is a little more timid at the moment - they're both pretty shy at the moment but they're SO cute. More (very similar) pics on flickr :)
 
Oh my god they are LUSH!!!
I have two house rabbits, and I can honestly say rabbits make brilliant pets
(apart from when they chew through the sky cable or the modem wire :D )

My cat is terrorised by our neighbour's rabbits who roam freely in his garden. We get our revenge, though, by feeding him rabbit Felix pouches, which ironically are his favourite.

Just thought I'd share that with you. Back to the comments on Teagan and Eva.....

ps - thanks a bunch, Sic... I've now got the tune to Watership Down going round and round in my head. :p
 
How are they for being picked up? our Brian will thump the ground and run off if you try but he's happy to climb up when the mood takes him.

Oh very glad there is a thread about bunnies! My rabbit came in the house today, which he often does, however he seems reluctant to move out again he likes the downstairs loo! how easy would it be to turn him into a house rabbit? he is about 9 months old.


Teagan and eva are very sweet!

they're not bad. they sometimes get funny ideas and fly over your shoulder, but they seem to like it. Just reduced the life expectancy of my back by leaning at 45 degrees against the sofa so Teagan could lie on me. I can't decide whether they lie still because they're comfortable or scared. So darn cute though

lol at the filename - that's a familiar pet-name ;)
 
That's the good thing about animals. When one dies, you can just get a replacement :p. Of course I jest. I got a Jaypeg inspired Syrian Dwarf Hamster not long after you got Jaypeg Jasper, but he died :(. Since replaced him with another hamster, and touch wood he's going great :).

They will get used to you eventually, if you need any tips or anything just shout, mine are very tame, and you can also toilet train them so they only poo/wee in their cage.
Id love to see some more pics, mine play with the dog as well, and they all get on.

hah, I never knew you got a hamster! that's pretty cool. You and Pete can take them for walks together. Post some pics of the lil fella

I'd completely forgotten Jaypeg even had a myspace!

aw, thanks :) I think we're barely allowed rabbits so we don't have any doggies for them to play with [yet]. They seem to really like each other, they're snuggling up together at the moment :D

Teagan is part lion-head as well, ive always wanted one of them, sadly my two are madly in love, and I couldnt add one.
 
Knip, when we bought our rabbit we were told not to get 2 as they would fight, is this true and do you think we could get one now?

they pretty much recommend getting 2. if you have 2 females they might recommend getting one spayed. If you get 2 males, they will fight unless you get them neutered. If you get a male and a female, they might make more bunnies!

So if we got another male would we have to get both neutered or just the new one, sorry to keep asking questions!
