yeah, noticed it has been cut to hell too, but its just really annoying when it all goes quiet when they shoot each other. At the begining when they threw the paperclip with the explosive at the chair, it was almost silent! Am I imagining it?

Yes it does keep going quieter at the loud bits. Well it did for me just now. Though I only noticed it once you pointed it out as it's only on in the background.

It would be OK if they cut it like ITV cut Robocop, with the "why me", "airhead" and "mother crusher" for the laughs but it's all lame edits on DH.

NO! ITV Suck! They Cut Terminator 2 so much that they removed everything any anything to do with the liquid metal dude malfunctioning. None of the blending into the floor and railings etc. And they also stuck the News in the middle!

That's why I said "for the laughs", don't get me wrong I'd much rather watch a film unmolested - but what ITV did to that film was pretty funny.

the original cut doesn't feature much malfunctioning, just the laserdisc and dvd 'ultimate edition' cut

I've watched Die Hard, Die Hard With a Vengeance and Die Hard 4.0 in the last couple of weeks.

Bruces first outing as McClane is by far the best of them so far. I watched 4.0 tonight, and it was well, just so awesomely OTT! Great fun though.

die hard 3 was imo just as good as the first, te second and 4th not so good.

But yeah this one was all crappy and cut and you couldnt hear the gunshots?
