2-0, game over. Good stuff.
What an impact Rooney had.
+1, it was so flat and there were basically no chances before he came on

BBC Studio had Carrick down as having a good game
Villa and their fans were a disgrace. 10 men behind the ball negative football. 3rd Round tie and this is supposed to be the best Villa side for years yet they STILL couldn't sell all their tickets!!!! And they have the cheek to sing to us Loyal Supporters hahahaha.
Got what they deserved today
Could be worse though, he could have spent £12m on Saha.

Straws, Clutching, at, I'm
Make a sentence out of that![]()
Don't you think the crowd had more to do with the "magic" of the FA Cup going over the past few years? we had 41000 at home to Spurs on Tursday, and 42000 at home to Man Utd in the Premiership game.
Possibly
I think having so much football on at the moment makes it less of an event it used to be. I was at Villa park for the 2-3 game and the atmosphere was electric without an empty seat in the house
That was the lowest crowd at Villa Park, disregarding the Coca Cola tie vs Leicester, this season.
I think the expectancy of another loss to Man Utd may of had it's part to play too.
Alas, another potless season - O'Neill Out!
2 good goals, Carrick:/ again, terrible 2nd half display from him really, the one where he got the ball and then just didnt know what to do with it so lofted it to anderson epitomised why he shouldnt be playing for us, oh yea and his shot, and his follow up to his own shot,,,
Did anyone see the Ferdinand interview after the game where the interviewer said that it's been said that Man Utd don't give two hoots about the FA cup? Did anyone not think that a little disrespectful to Man Utd? We got to the final last season by beating Premiership sides throughout the tournament and again today beat another Premiership side
