it works with all the downloadable content and the other expansions, shivering isle i think is still going through testing but its working.

Addon wise, most of them work, just not the ones which interfere with what the 4 big addons do.

p.s. im reinstalling the game (had a format last week) so me installing these mods from the latest patch with official addons and expansion should be the same for new users, so ill also let you lot know just how easy or tough it is
 
That trailer kinda sucked..it said "A SAVAGE WORLD" and showed some like crappy little teddy bears pawing at each other lol.

Might give this a go but i'm still playing Witcher so i'll prolly stick to that atm.
 
Google search for "uploading torrent" or "creating a torrent" It's pretty easy. You'll want to create a torrent of your root c: drive ;-)
 
alright, screw that, i tried to go through there detailed installation, but its just so bloody messy its a joke lol. all of a sudden they got some random links to some random patches next they are telling you what errors to expect from something they havnt even told you to get... what ever happened to the good old step system?

ill pass until the installation is made a lot easier...

bah, now i have oblivion installed for no reason lol

Sounds very good. Never played Oblivion on the PC though, but it looks a lot better than the 360 version.

How well will Oblivion run on a X1800XT 512mb, 1GB of RAM and a E6320 2.8GHz?

Pretty good, apart from 1gb of ram will make you lag if you max out the settings.

Registering Interest in this. Will be upgrading soon and new install of Oblivion is in order. Wonder what kind of system would one be looking at to handle all this stuff?

The shots the OP posted look so good because they are running Quals Texture Pack 3. FCOM effects gameplay mainly and has nothing todo with quals pack.

FCOM is hard to install though, has been said by loads for people. Expect a 3 hour+ installation time if your new to Oblivion. But, once setup, what you're left with is an incredible gaming experience.

Quals texture pack is demanding due to the large image.res being used. However, there is a 'reduced version which still looks incredible and is suited for 256mb cards. Otherwise you really need a 512mb on normal qual to have a stutter-free game.

Just downloading all the files for this now. Is it compatable with the Shivering Isles expansion? Does it need the exansion to work?

Its compatible with SI and you don't need the expansions. The compatibility with SI is only beta phase, so it might still have bugs.
 
Well, in that case I'll install it all now then, rather than waiting for my friend to return it :D

He has my copy of the knights of the nine as well, is that supported or is it beta too?
