CTC does anyone know how much you get for 3 kids?

Because they can't afford it perhaps?

Or a better question, why should those that can afford it have to pay for those that can't or not be entitled to the same handouts?

But when your working out your budget pre and post family its more than reasonable to consider child benefit and working tax credits. Its not like you only apply for them if you're too close to the bread line.

Knocking back to my previous point with the UK service economy, the irony of it is that the lower earning portion of the population makes up a good portion of the service demographics, yet cos they dont earn lots of money they are scum and should not be allow children.

With your rather black and white view on this do you think you come up with an earning threshold where kids are acceptable?

I hate all these benefits but I will definitely get all the benefits I will be entitled too. The government will be stealing enough money off me, may aswell get some back.

So those in lower paid Mcjobs don't have kids. As time goes by they grow old and die. Now who is going to work at these lower paid jobs?

Not forgetting of course, that somebody in London earning 20k is probably begging on the streets, whereas somebody earning 20k in the southwest is doing alright for themselves.

:D

My only hope is that by some major stroke of luck someone gets into power that has the common sense to stop all these benefits, then as the years pass those that can't afford to breed end up starving to death and the human gene pool improves to the extent that tax is a thing of the past and people are happy to pay for the services they receive/need.

You don't get it because you don't need it. Isn't that glaringly obvious to you?

Do you know about welfare? Yes that is intended to be condescending.

In fact, let's go over this again:

You don't think there should be welfare unless you get it.
You don't like paying tax.
You don't like the working class.
They shouldn't get benefits that you don't get.

So I'm guessing you were born well off, and continue to be well off?

What if you were born poor and struggled to get by - could you still have been able to become well off?

The reason they are benefits is because they reduce the gap between the rich and the poor. If EVERYONE gets them then you may as well not give them at all.

Tax credits aren't a state handout. Well, they are in the way that this inept government has implemented them, but they are supposed to be an additional tax free allowance.

Sure, if implemented properly (as you say) they would be. As usual they end up being free handouts of cash paid for by you know who!

im on about £75 as well for two kids and as most people know ctc isnt a benifit but an addition to the single persons supplement , i could understand people getting a roasting for being on the dole but taking a low paid job ??
i cant argue with this system as its enabled me to have two homes (one with great surf) and a new car :)

You don't like paying tax.
I don't like the fact that certain groups have to pay a higher percentage purely because they have managed to put themselves in a better position, flat rate percentage tax on everyone regardless of earnings would be my preference
You don't like the working class.
I AM working class.
They shouldn't get benefits that you don't get.
I don't believe certain people shouldn't be entitled purely because they have managed to do well in life.
So I'm guessing you were born well off, and continue to be well off?
Again wrong, I come from a very average family who work hard, they taught me the values of working hard for a living and educating myself so not to be reliant on others for handouts. Continue to be well off? I suppose being well off is objective, but hopefully I will continue to provide for my family.

Yes, everyone has opportunities presented to them; it’s how they act on them that affects the outcome.

I don't think we should get child benefit but we do, £17 per week roughly.

All of it has gone into an account for our daughter to see her through University etc when she is older.

Lets be honest there are people who cannot afford to have as many children as they do but know that the state will bail them out, that stinks and that is what gets up peoples noses.

i think ctc and wtc is more of a tax rebate than a bailing out and encourages people to take lower paid jobs rarther than sponge
