I'm after new ones, although not proper studs because I only play five-aside.

I bought some a while ago, but they rub the bottom of my feet so bad that if I don't use micropore tape and two pairs of socks they take the skin off the bottom of my big toes. :(

What's good to look for in a new pair? Do you buy online? Can you trust a fit without actually trying them on? (In my experience, no.)

If you don't buy online, where do you go? Any particular make or model that's worth looking into?

We play on a squash court sort of surface, so I've found that small round rubber studded astroturf type ones provide the best grip. Do you agree?

I can't even find a picture of my current ones online, but I did get them a year ago and they were on sale then!

The boots I have were in my price range at the time of £30 and I tried them on. they fit, I wore them for 1.5 hours of five aside at which point they murdered my feet. :)

I wear the Addidas 'F' Range for Astro Turf Games - Excellent comfort and grip. Some editions are a bit garish in terms of colour get em in JJB etc etc

I also wear the adidas range. Very comfy, super light and great grip. Worth the money!

You should be looking at indoor boots for a squash court type surface, not astros. They'll deal with the surface at lot better and will probably improve your game over astros.
