Snip.
Go out side, play the "real life" game, it's like the sims, only better.
Snip.
PSN is even worse lol
random fanboy alert poster!
so whilst xbox Live that you pay for has had constant problems all over xmas (which i can see why due to new users ect, ect) i have been happily playing COD4, ect, ect on the PSN for free with no issues. Something wrong somewhere and really MS should have catered better - seeing the same thing happened last year (not to the same scale) but it did. Now if it happened on the PSN well we couldn't really moan about it, but paying for something and not getting it is something that every person has a right to do if its borked
Lol fanboy, I simply said that when broke Live is like PSN seems to be normally. In my experience anyway
Was round my mates yesterday trying to get an online game on COD4 on PSN. Took about 5minutes just to get a game then it would drop out after every game. In the end error 33 popped up and then it wouldn't connect at all.
But the website does not die when Live dies, so how are you correct? Off course if Live is down then the website can't get Live data but other than that it works, so would suggest the server for the website is not hosted on the same server as Live to me, but who really cares.
Load on the website affects load on the Live service as a lot of elements are linked such as messaging, friends browsing and game stats.
I am not debating that am I, I agreed with that already, but still xbox.com works when live is down, minus the Live elements of it obviously. Nevermind, it's not good enough for a paid service no matter what the problem is.
