Anyone having issues with xbox live?

PSN is even worse lol

random fanboy alert poster!

so whilst xbox Live that you pay for has had constant problems all over xmas (which i can see why due to new users ect, ect) i have been happily playing COD4, ect, ect on the PSN for free with no issues. Something wrong somewhere and really MS should have catered better - seeing the same thing happened last year (not to the same scale) but it did. Now if it happened on the PSN well we couldn't really moan about it, but paying for something and not getting it is something that every person has a right to do if its borked

Lol fanboy, I simply said that when broke Live is like PSN seems to be normally. In my experience anyway

Indeed Soulja.

Just **** off with all this fanboy **** everyone please. It's older, than like the internet.

Was round my mates yesterday trying to get an online game on COD4 on PSN. Took about 5minutes just to get a game then it would drop out after every game. In the end error 33 popped up and then it wouldn't connect at all.

Thats call of duty's fault not PSN.

Every other game is fine.

Well COD4 has been nothing short of bobbins this evening. Managed to get about 6 games doen in the space of 2.5hrs with 3 mates. In out in out all the time; totally random whether you get into a match or whether the lobby drops out. Can't believe M$ havent fixed this.

maybe this man can fix it

lol.

But the website does not die when Live dies, so how are you correct? Off course if Live is down then the website can't get Live data but other than that it works, so would suggest the server for the website is not hosted on the same server as Live to me, but who really cares.

Load on the website affects load on the Live service as a lot of elements are linked such as messaging, friends browsing and game stats.

from Majors Twitter box, they are on the case and apparently things are improving,

"Just because I am in Vegas does not mean that I am not aware of the LIVE issues. 5 minutes ago
e has been IMing me about LIVE and the status. 5 minutes ago
e tells me LIVE is doing better. if you see a problem...please try again. We are doing much better, but you may get a blip or two. 9 minutes ago
Yes, the team is working on LIVE. e just updated me. 1 hour ago"

I am not debating that am I, I agreed with that already, but still xbox.com works when live is down, minus the Live elements of it obviously. Nevermind, it's not good enough for a paid service no matter what the problem is.

dude the service has been running for 5 years, this is the first time that they've really ran into some major issues, thats pretty dam good if you ask me considering how many people are using the service, they underestimated the popularity of halo 3 and cod4 and the load it had on the system and they will eventually fix it, I pay thousands of pounds into BT every year I only wish over the last five years their service had been as reliable, live is only 76p a week.
