Hi

Fancied a change from my MG which I've had for just under two years now

Always liked the Astra Coupe so I test drove one at a local dealer on Saturday and finalised the deal today.

Picking it up on Thursday PM - can't wait! Pics as soon as I pick it up!

Does this mean you'll start defending Astra Coupes to the death when they get slagged off, instead of your brilliant MG? :p
 
I would have thought that now you were conditioned and used to £3000 a year repair bills following your MG, you'd be able to justify the running costs on a Supra Twin Turbo or something :p
 
I'm still absolutely astonished at the amount of repairs you've had :) you only have to look at the mg rovers forum to see its definiately one of a kind to have anywhere ner 2.5k repairs.

First sign of trouble i'll be replacing mine as money's burning a whole in my pocket atm but i've been waiting for something major for 3 years now and still nothing.
 
Don't like the colour at all but I like the car itself (if that makes sense!?). Congrats. Im sure you'll enjoy it :D. Pics when ya get it.

Yeah definitely - must have a Friday afternoon car or something!

Was thinking of keeping it as I've already spent so much on it but it's a good excuse to change :) Still enjoy driving the car though

I was also unsure on the colour - definitely not my first choice but there isn't a huge amount out there for £4k and it had leather! It doesn't look that bad in the flesh but everyone's reaction is 'Gold?'!
 
I would have thought so - I think they did that colour in the sportier versions (2.2 and 2.0 Turbo) so they should have made the spoiler in that colour for those versions
