Hello all...

i have just bought one of these mobo's and i really like it, and i must admit i like the water cooling heatsink's so i would like you all to tell me which is the best way to water cool this mobo and cpu, the case i have is a Antec P182 Super Midi Tower Case hope this helps...

thanks woody...!!!

I take it you want to use the standard northbridge block? All you have to do is connect the 3/8 tubing to the NB nozzles and use the white 3/8-1/2 adapters that come with the board. The clip them up using the white/metal clasps to secure them.

Of course you can just use 3/8 tubing all round if you wish.

If you are looking to remove the NB cooler that you will need a block for the nb,sb and mosfets. EK seems to be the most common option.

you will have to wait for a sb block, ek are still making it for this board as it has a crosslinx chip on it

yes i wanted a water cooling kit to do the whole pc, cpu and attatch to the one supplied to the mobo

so i need to cool the southbridge, i just thought it was best to cool the cpu and northbridge, i thought southbridge just did usb's and sound (ect ect ect)

wel if your ripping the stock cooling off u will have a lot more to cool than nb and cpu u will need

Cpu, Nb, Mosfets, Sb, Crosslinx chip, Pci-e 2 Chip

i could be wrong about pci-e 2 one as i cant rememeber if there was 2 there

I think what he's asking for is a ready-made kits with tubes the right size so that he can just connect the watercooling on his board into his loop?

in that case the board coems with 1/2" adaptors so use that

the swiftec kit will fit or a custom loop depends how much u wanna spend tbh do u have a budget in mind

not really, but i do like the look of the Swiftech H20 120 Compact Kit, thats if it will do the job, and the pre-installed north bridge has 3/8th nipples, so is it best to have 3/8ths all round

Stay away from the Thermaltake kits - they are cheap and won't cope with a loop the size you want it.

You'll need at least a 120.2, if not a 120.3 radiator to get decent temperatures.

would i get away with keeping the mobo's cooling and just add a cpu water block and hook the lot up

You haven't mentioned what CPU you have but TBH if it's anything that's going in a Maximus Extreme you'd see better temperatures with a decent air cooler over a Thermaltake kit
