Hey,

I need a suggested addon for seeing my DOTS on enemies (like a timer or something so I can see how long they have got left till they run out).

Can anyone recommend any other addons? I have omen and a DPS meter, anything else that a raiding shadow priest needs really?

Already had that a while ago :P

increased CD on sw:d, reduced co-efficient of VE, reduced +dmg co-efficient of MF... which we did need since it was easy to top the dmg meters AND regen loads of health AND regen mana!

But yeah, Quartz is the best timer addon i've found. You should also get Deadly Boss Mods (everyone should infact). That's pretty much the essentials, and to maximise dps, keep dot uptime to a maximum but don't overwrite your dots, especially by a fraction of a second, and when you have ~1000+shadow dmg use MB and sw:d on every cooldown as long as your tanks can keep agro. If they have trouble, just don't use VE :)
 
I played as a shadow priest for quite a while, immensely good fun and a great boost to raids.

I just used a timer called DoTimer (cleverly named), and that surficed well. Generally make sure you have good +hit and a nice crit build with a few choice gems can work very well, even though most people go for full out +damage.

Anyhow keep your dots up and smash MB and SW:D whenever you can, if your tanks cant keep agro you need a better guild, tell your tank your going to try get agro. All our shadow priests used to love telling our guild master and MT that and it made him concentrate more :)

My main's a shadow priest by the way. Quartz is silly useful for me.

Monster's advice is useful to any caster except shadow priests. You don't want crit, and you don't want variety in your gems except purely +spell damage. You want all +9 spell damage. The size of your mana pool won't matter either. Number one priority is spell damage. The more damage you deal, the more efficient you are, as 5% of your damage dealt returns to you and your party as mana. If you are using Vampiric Embrace, don't spend points in improved VE as that only acts as increased threat generation. Never rely on the healing done by your Vampiric Embrace as a primary source. Most priests avoid Shadow Power for the same reason - crits are unwanted aggro, and unwanted excess damage if you crit a Death move. I have 7000 or so hit points, and when my Death crits for 3000 I am not a happy bunny.

Second vote for Natur, nice mod, can be made to run very effeciently or with everything you could ever wish for turned on. It can be configured to wake you with toast in a morning.

I digress, but for spell timings etc its imba, even gives cooldown times of enemy casts it has seen so you know how long till a warr can pop zerker/intercept on you again etc.
 
Yes £90 is cheap. I just sold a US account for $190 which I felt was poorly undervalued. Especially since not to long ago a friend sold his for $500.

Herojuana did you use a website that is a bit to basic (appearance wise) but with a quick service/sale?

EDIT: On topic I would say any between Quartz and Natur - although I used both (at the same time) that made my UI go a bit all over the place. Try them both and see which you prefer.

There are lots of ways to sell. send me a MSN after 5pm and I will point you in a few directions.

FWIW the account I recently sold for $190 US had 2 level 70s, one fully decked warrior in epics (tank and dps) a epic flying mount etc etc the alt 70 druid had full blues and regular flight form.

that just got me $190 but it was via a very quick sale.
 
I like the dot timers that come with the x-perl unit frames. And the buff mod that's part of ctmod.

DoTs on the target that aren't yours are shown the normal size, while yours are shown that big size. It's good for distinguishing between yours and others when you're in groups etc.

Its some MMO sale website. They will evaluate your character and offer you a price which they will give to you immediately and take the account off your hands. Another option is that they will sell your account through the site, in which case, if you wait for them to do it you will get about 20% more.

I just got the cash straight off. I didn't feel it was to the accounts true value but meh, I wasn't playing anymore anyways.
