My main's a shadow priest by the way. Quartz is silly useful for me.
Monster's advice is useful to any caster except shadow priests. You don't want crit, and you don't want variety in your gems except purely +spell damage. You want all +9 spell damage. The size of your mana pool won't matter either. Number one priority is spell damage. The more damage you deal, the more efficient you are, as 5% of your damage dealt returns to you and your party as mana. If you are using Vampiric Embrace, don't spend points in improved VE as that only acts as increased threat generation. Never rely on the healing done by your Vampiric Embrace as a primary source. Most priests avoid Shadow Power for the same reason - crits are unwanted aggro, and unwanted excess damage if you crit a Death move. I have 7000 or so hit points, and when my Death crits for 3000 I am not a happy bunny.
Its some MMO sale website. They will evaluate your character and offer you a price which they will give to you immediately and take the account off your hands. Another option is that they will sell your account through the site, in which case, if you wait for them to do it you will get about 20% more.
I just got the cash straight off. I didn't feel it was to the accounts true value but meh, I wasn't playing anymore anyways.
However when I tested my setup with a bit of excess crit and stuff I seemed to do far more damage

Seems that Natur will not be supported from 2.4 onwards. Blizzard are changing things and the writer can't be bothered to recode.
If you do mostly 5 mans you may well find that stacking crit will get you better results, as your dots won't have a lot of time to tick, since mobs go down really fast. Consequently the high 'instant' dps of mindblast and SWD will come into play a lot more. In raids where the fights become much longer, you may find you're limited to dots and flay, with limited mana for mindblast. SWD may also become a liability, since if there's a lot of raid-wide damage happening you don't want to be critting yourself for an additional 3k with it. As mentioned above, gem with the +9 damage rubies. You also need to reach +16% spellhit for boss fights, but shadow priests get +10% of this from talents.
