People on Jobseekers Allowance forced to work for their money...

It gets treated as a rapid reclaim before then. Not quite what you said.

Same difference, rapid reclaim just means you go back to the stage of the claim you was at previously, i.e
5 months on JSA, find a job for 2 days, after that go to the JCP and make a "Rapid-Reclaim", this would then put you at the same 5mth JSA claim period.

After that 13 week period (as far as I have been told from the Personal Advisors etc.) if you go back and re-sign on, you would be treated as a fresh claim.

I get conflicted stories all the time from different people at different JCPs let alone at the place I work...

Depends on the advisors. When I was at CDG some wouldn't send their clients back, some were difficult and wouldn't sign people off for failing to attend (like a certain woman at Wembley JCP)..

At C&C we ask the JCP to stop payments on rare occasions, but only one JCP and one Advisor at JCP will do it!

Could I use JCP any more? :p

Whats your success rate like out of interest?

Employment wise?

Well if I said we never hit targets set for 25+ (no provider does though) but meet our 18-24, and we have the biggest amount of overstayers in the country (according to JCP league tables)

No figures for Dec 07 are floating around yet

after 6 months you go on to a program new deal where you attend a centre i believe ,

Yes you do.

During a low point of my life I once had to attend.

It teaches the numpty's to write CV's and Letter's. Also how to fill out application forms.

Basically what people from school will remember the "Small of mind" people doing.

Thats unfortunate...:p

If someone has a bad back and the doctor agrees they cannot work then they would get IB, not the same as JSA.

Not really! I'm registered disabled and certified as such by my consultant, although mine is slightly worse than a dodgy back. Yet I can only claim JSA because the muppets at the DWP say that I'm "not disabled enough" because apparently they know better than a consultant.

whilst all MPs/polititions are idiots, I do think conservative are the best. Labor just keep giving money to people with pants jobs and those who dont work. In 3 years time both me and my 2 brothers will be at uni. Our family would be better off if my dad quit his job as a senior engineering manager and got a job stacking shelves at tesco..... (due to EMA and the thousands of pounds low income familes get towards uni)
