Because i read that some do (Philips for example, Perfect Panel), but i can never find any, and information is rather slim. I really REALLY hate any pixel problems. Ive had 1 in almost every thing ive bought that uses LCD (Monitor, 2 PSP's, strangely my 32" Samsung TV is perfect in every bit), so instead of ordering a monitor in hope, id like to have some kind of gaurentee, ya know ? So is there any out there ?

Dell have a Zero dead pixel policy, and I have heard that Samsung have also, although you'll need to check the last one as not 100% sure.

I have spoken to Dell and they confirmed they would replace a defective monitor due to pixel problems.

Peace :)

I ordered a 2407 from OCUK and it had a stuck pixels, they wouldn't replace it due to that but as soon as i mentioned "distance selling regulations" i got a new monitor.

You can register the monitor with dell for the Warrenty and then call them to replace the monitor :)

yeah ive just got a dead pixel in my samsung 22inch as you may have seen on my other thread, tbh i think its a bit pathetic when you see how much you paid for it... my first dead pixel though

There are retailers that offer a dead pixel check for a price on top of the monitor. I guess the problem with them is that you are more likely to get one with dead pixels if you didn't pay for the check unless they have a special arrangement with their suppliers.
