MMMM a nice tongue sandwich!

Never tried tongue.

Do you slice it up or just whack the whole thing between some chunky cut bread like you would with a juicy steak?

I'm not a fan of tongue at all. Have eaten it a few times, but its taste doesn nothing much for me, so I eat more available meats. I do like liver though, and I love kidneys :D

Mmmm liver and kidneys! Food of the gods! I must say that I do quite like braised lamb's brains. Then again I like brussel sprouts and will eat pretty much anything.

You're a Froggy, they're not so bad compared to frogs legs!

Never tried brains. Have tried sweetbreads before. Not bad, quite tasty I seem to remember.

It probably tastes nice, but just the thought that its the tongue sounds horrible, strangley enough I'll eat beef.

Just one of those silly things in human nature I guess :p

I'll try pretty much anything when it comes to food. And yes Gilly, maybe even rat if you barbecued one nicely for me. :p When I'm out at restaurants I always look to see if there's something I havent had before. This has lead me to eating deep fried ice cream at one place!

On a similar line, I think the most unusual (and tasty) sandwich I've seen commercially avaliable was Sainsbury's Pastrami and Gherkin.

PK!
