Raccomend me a 24" monitor suitable for photography.

I would like to buy a new 24" monitor....I am not very happy with the picture quality of the S-PVA panel of my Dell 2407 FPW.
I have a dell 1905FP as well (P-MVA panel) and in my opinion shows better quality picture than the dell 2407 FPW.

Colors may be slightly washed out on the 1905FP, but definately more realistic and uniform. Dell 2407 FPW colours look too strong, nearly artificial...I have spent all weekend trying a calibration unsuccessfully.

I am after a P-MVA panel...budget around 400 to 500 quids, I require 1:1pixel mapping and a must turn 90 degrees,any suggestions ?

If the 2407FPW the same as the 2407WFP? Because if so, I'll have it off you.

It sounds like you don't have the necessary hardware to be able to get the best out of it, because that monitor should calibrate about as good as anything on the market.

What are you using to calibrate the monitor?

Glitch...is a Dell 2407WFP rev. 04 model 1 week old !
