Hi,

I'm looking at buying the bag in the title to house my D80 and a couple of lenses. I only want a smallish bag as I'm just starting out and don't have masses of kit to house. Would this bag be a good choice?. Will it house my camera with a 18-135mm Nikon DX lens attached?, as i don't like keep taking it off the camera.

Thanks

get the XXXL, its still very small, don't listen to what crumpler say on there site about what fits in size wise.

Thanks for the reply. That looks fine actually, i was expecting the XXXL to be massive. So would the XL not fit a camera in with the lens attached then?. I didn't really want to spend a lot more than £30 on a bag tbh.

I'd say go for the XXXL - it's a bag to grow into and as the pictures are showing it really isn't too big.
I bought mine a week or so ago as well (in black/orange) and can highly recommend it.

As for price, it can be had for £44inc VAT & Delivery.
The vendor I used, I ordered on the Tuesday and I had it on the Wednesday.
A little over your £30 budget, but worth it.

Cheers, yeah i might go for the XXXL then. Are they a decent quality bag then?, i just randomly picked one from an online store to get as i have no idea about bags.

Very good quality bags.

I'd recomend the XXXL also. Fits my D80 nicely with room for a couple of extra bits, I'd say 2 lenses & a flash plus some smaller bits & bobs.

I got mine yesterday, build quality is excellent but as many people have said before (in this and my thread) the size of the bag is deceptivly small. I still think its an excellent bag though I have yet to take it out for a trip.

Thanks for the replies, I'll deffo go for the XXXL then Ive found it for £41 inc del on ebay so not too bad. I just didn't want a really big cumbersome bag like my dad has got.

when you consider the amount of money's worth of kit you'll be plonking in it, it's only right to splash out a bit on a bag

Yeah, it was just the size i wasn't sure of. Ive ordered the XXXL from ebay for £41, had to get the Olive and black version as the black and orange wasn't available.

Anyone here got the Daily L? It's a toss up between that and the Pretty Boy for me, and from what I see the Daily is better built and has more extra pockets, but it's more expensive...

I've got a Daily XL, I fit a D80, rocket blower and 30/50mm primes. This only takes up one third of the bag, so I've got lots of room for water, uni books, laptop etc.

I preferred the flat courier shape of the Dailys compared tot he squat fat shape o the Pretty boys.

I have the XL bag, got it as a free gift offer when sibscribing to Digital SLR User magazine. Its an ok bag if you just want to stuff your camera with lens attached and one more lens comfortably. Being me though, I've managed to arrange the divider so I can stuff the camera with lens removed in one side, and 4 (four) lenes in the other, one of which is a beercan. Not the ideal arrangement for rapid lens retrieval but at least I have them all to hand, and of course when on a walk about you take the camera out and attach one lens, you only ever have 3 in the bag which is much better.

That settles it for me then, since I'd definitely prefer a courier shaped bag.

I just got the pretty Boy XL (backpack, not shoulder bag) and it seems really well made, plenty of room in it for my camera, laptop, mp3 player, accessories etc. and everything is well protected.

For £49 I can't really complain.

I'm currently deciding on whether to get a Pretty Boy or spend a bit extra and get the daily. I'm leaning towards the daily but really want to see them in the flesh to decide...

I have now got both (one is a walkabout bag and the other is a fit it all in bag). The daily is the better one in terms of space and quality, but its huge and weighs a ton when full. Depends what you want it for I suppose.

The Daily range is much bigger, no? I have the Daily XS, and actually, it's *just* too small for me. I find it's fine for my 400D+Grip, 17-70mm Sigma and nifty-50mm... but when I put the 70-210mm in as well, it is suboptimal.
