I've got a tube of old-ish ASII lying around and when i squeezed a little out of the tube the other day a little water came out first. Is this normal? will the ASII still be alright to use? :S

The fluid coming out first means that it has seperated.

AS is a "suspension" i.e Particles of Silver suspended in a fluid.

Overtime the natural weight of the heavier particles will settle in the tube leaving a layer of fluid near the top.

You could squeeze it all out and mix it together in a small container.

Stick it in the fridge nose down so the fluid rises but AS I think has a life of 12 months max but dont quote me on it.

Regards.

It will be fine to use, mix a little of seperated liquid back into the paste you squeeze out to make it easier to apply.

It has no 'shelf life' as such but will seperate over time.
As stated above - storing tip down will reduce this, and storing in the fridge will slow the separation process down.

i've squeezed a couple of centimetres out of the tube and it looks totally fine... there's no other water and it doesn't seem to have seperated. suck it and see i guess, what do you think?
