*****THE OFFICIAL***** MASS EFFECT THREAD

Just loaded up the secondary mission on planet Amaranthine, but instead of it going into a cut scene the npc started to spazz out big time, cross eyed and everything, lol.

insendiary are good for humans or anything with flesh really.

but the shredder or anti personal is better. So why do i need incendiary?

Like i said all but 1 or 2 are pointless and the amount of times you fight humans its pritty much not worth it considering they are easy to kill anyway. 1 shotty and they out.

Excelent game just completed it took ..24HOURS! thats got to be a record for myself :)

Looks like ill have to play it again sometime as I never got the achievement for getting laid and I was too nice to everyone :D

What about krogans on insanity though, they take a good minuite and a half of shooting at times if you dont have the skills to disable them. At rank 9/10 the weapon upgrades all but dissapear though, with only juggernaught, snowblind and HE rounds available.

But i do agree about the amour upgrades, only useful one is health regen, and even then combat characters have passive health regen as it is.

what the hell, came across what I think is a bug

at the end, where you're taking out the defense turrets (right before you fight seren) garus died, but after I finished taking them all out he got up etc

so i go through the hatchet thingy, into elevator and now hes diappeared <_> I only have 2 members in squad :/

and it saved auto which didnt bring him back, and my last official save was like 1 hour ago

ownt :(

edit: and in cutscnes, hes invisible, just a floating gun XD also, his cutscene speeches are missing :'(

unlucky :p ive noticed a few bugs in my travels. Some really annoying ones are like how a biotic froze me on a stairs and i fell down and never got up again. grrr, though i beleive there is a power that can do this but surely they dont allow the AI to use it constantly ?? it took me ages to get past it and only happened when on the stairs.

5 and a 1/2 hours in. Done the citadel and running around doing side quests. When does this game start to get interesting?

I've had a handfull of combat in 5 and 1/2 hours.

I don't remember KOTOR being this slow? The transport system is a welcome relief from having to run around for ages. I expected more from the frame rate and general smoothness though. The loading pauses etc.

It's a nice enough game but after 5 hours it's not really pulled me in.

I was into it from the get go really. Although when I was about level 25+ I found it more fun as my weapons were much better.

Yeah the trips back to the citadel between missions were what I lived for in my first play through, I loved going back and talking to people I had missed before or doing new side quests that had popped up. Much prefered it to the combat side of things actually.

Hmmm so It's probably not going to click for me then. I'm finding it pretty mindless, nothing to really think about, no puzzles just wandering from person to person. Infact it's so mindless I'm now playing it Picture in picture on the dell while surfing the net.

Never been much of an rpg person but Kotor was a much faster pace with imo better combat.

Oh well for £18 it was worth a punt.

15 hours in and done citadel and novaria. **** this game is huge. Combat aint a patch on Kotor, infact it's clumsy but getting into this now. Shame it's took 15 hours :)

:D I like the change of heart in your last two posts.

:)

The combats still crud, infact most of the time I just leave the AI to do it's own thing while I kill what I can. Its just the sheer size of the game thats blowing me away.

I don't really know where to go next, after doing those two areas. Looking at the maps there are stacks of planets. Where to go?

Bloody gone through the game without using those points to upgrade my characters talents, was about 35 points and I could not kill that Matriarch Benezia but as soon as i upgraded bam she was a sitting duck.
