Good foods to keep for times like this

Bombay Mix

Great stuff!

I used to know a guy put that stuff in a bowl with milk like cereal *shudder*

There's a sandwich shop near work that does HUGE salad boxes for £2.50 with any meat/fish/cheese combo on top. I usually have one of those for lunch, can never finish it, then take it home and put the leftover on a nice granary barm or baton with some Salad Cream or Mayo- lovely stuff.

Oh dear, read the thread once again.

I never said that croissants and peanut butter could not form part of a healthy and balanced diet, the OP asked for healthy snacks and looking at peanut butter and croissants in isolation (without specifying the rest of the diet) they are certainly not healthy items.

Furthermore weight is not always an indicator of health, there are plently of 'thin' or those of a medically normal weight who are rather unhealthy.

No, you read it again. The original post did not say the suggestions had to be 'health foods' but 'healthy' You are trolling me for the sake of trolling. I am now trolling your trolling because its irritating.

Croissants and peanut butter are not unhealthy items of food. Just because they have more in them than a stick of celery does not make them unhealthy. if you move the goal posts and look at the whole picture they can be quite reasonable.

To my knowledge, the op did not ask 'What tasteless, bland and nutritional negligible items of food can i keep around for a time like this?

Cereal. I eat a mixture of 3 Weetabix and a pile of cornflakes.

Great stuff for weird times of the morning/night.

I'm starving, pulled an all nighter to finish 2 essays that are in for today. Had a chicken korma (with sausage and pepper :S) at 1am but am ready for some proper grub now.
