Iran: two youths to be flogged and thrown off a cliff

im not advocating it, im just saying this country is far too relaxed.... and the problem with this country is that if the goverment cant solve a problem (like drugs etc) they just legalise it.

Yeah because they've legalized everything from 100 years ago that they had a problem with, oh wait?

Lets face it, these days criminals can sue their victims.

Lets face it, you don't know what your talking about, I'm sure you'd love to see a criminal thrown off a cliff, instead of integrating them back into society. But at the same time still enjoy the freedom's you have now, going out socialising, driving a car, going on holiday, enjoying a press which doesn’t tell you what someone authorizes.

You cannot have both.

I wouldnt be surprised if theyre unconscious from the pain before they get to 100 lashes. That sounds awful.

Ok so i dont know what im talking about but you do so good for you.
Yes i would love to see a criminal thrown off a cliff rather than intergrated back into society only to commit more crime...........

Your only being liberal because your a bystander. What if you, or a member of your family, was raped? Bet you'd have a different perspective then wouldnt you.....
I know i'd want to kill the scumbag myself!

Yea, I probably would want to kill him, but I wouldn't actually do it, even if the opportunity presented itself. It's very easy to sit in front of your computer saying how you'd kill so and so given a chance, I'd imagine it's an exceedingly different story when you actually have to do it for real. Have you ever actually killed someone? Basically at the moment, you're just coming across as a keyboard warrior...throwing threats of violence at criminals around.

If I killed the person who raped a member of my family, that would make me just as uncivilised as the person who carried out the rape, and you can't have it both ways.

Would love to see corporal punishment back in England. Would clear up jails, stop people from thinking twice before raping the poor 6 year old.

Instead where stuck with throwing them in jail, hoping they repent there crimes and become part of society again, which is complete bull because they do there crimes so they get to play PS3's in there lovely room, free dinners and even get to choose whether or not they go to there jail hearings.

Its amazing how people on this forum support such a pathetic excuse for a punishment system, which doesn't work.

It's not murder, it's an execution. The difference? one is lawful the other is not.
The only lawful reason for killing another human being is self defence. I don't consider this or any other execution to fall into this catergory.

What you consider is irrelevant. If the law says that executions are permitted then they are lawful.

I guess you mean capital, not corporal?

And why do people keep saying this? It wouldn't clear up the jails, and it wouldn't stop people from thinking twice. As I've said before, there are crimes of passion which mean people don't think twice, and people don't believe they will get caught so the punishment is irrelevant. I'm sure there's a substantially less amount of raping going on in the USA...after all, they have the death penalty don't they!

My god.
