Which direction does the Tuniq blow and how to fit the thing

If your case have a rear exhaust fan the opposite way to this

Thanks. I'm installing in the exact same case to a q6600. So the spiky points on the fins need to point up and if i was looking side on accross the rams slots, the tuniq on top would be right side up and readable? Also, how far width way should the past go accress the core. About the width of the writting on the top?

Mine is installed in the same orientation as your pic in a P182 with rear exhaust.
That way the fan pulls/pushes the air in the same direction as the case airflow & out through the rear exhaust fan.
Surely this is right? Am I missing something? :confused:
 
As its shown in the picture above the air is being blow over the ram, turn it around and the hot air is blow out of the back of the case. Older ones may be different but thats how the newest ones work.
 
Ok put the tuniq on (hopefully i got it right :confused:) and I have the Mobo, Ram and 8800 installed. I have the HD in the bootom bay and the DVD writer in the top. Just about to insert the HX and I'm wondering which orientation would be best? Should i have the fan pointing up down or dont matter? Also does it matter the tuniq fan control wire are going over the mobo?

erm, no. I got my tuniq tower a week and a bit ago, and by default, with fins pointing down like that picture, it blows out the back of the case.

Every tuniq tower ive seen has its fan set like this.
 
I installed a Tuniq today, but installed it the other way round and only now I noticed ;)

Remove job tomorrow and a refit (again).

Considering i fitted 5 today alone, trust me when i say they blow the other way :)

Install with HX PSU fan pointing down.
If you have put the DVD writer in the very top bay I would move it down one as I found that the overhanging top front facia makes it a bit fiddly loading disks into it.

well maybe they dont specificaly choose which way the fan is put in then, maybe they just randomly install the fan into the heatsink. Because my tuniq tower is brand new and fins down blows out the case, and many websites/reviews have it the same way.
 
My Tuniq has fins pointing down like yours smirnoff and blows towards the rear exaust fan. Are u sure you didnt take out the fan and put it back the wrong way?
As every other tuniq tower i have seen on this forum is like mine and darren555s.
