Well as regulars will know I have about eleventy-thousand kids, therefore an 8-seater Toyota Estima has been our family chariot over the last 6 years or so. She has done us proud and never missed a beat, but she is getting long-in-the-tooth so it was time to replace her. After doing plenty of reseach and seeing what was in our budget of £7-8k I decided on..............another Estima, albeit the new shape.

But you know me and my sometimes 'interesting' tastes, today I put a deposit down on this:

It's a 2000 Estima 2.4 petrol, and I love it, pimp as **** :D

Apart from looking cool (as far as MPVs go) it has a fantastic spec, you get so much more car for your money compared to something like a Galaxy. I'll be picking it up in a week or so after it has been registered and had some scuffs and marks taken care of. It's also being completley undersealed free of charge

Lol pimptastic, not too keen on the alloys or the tints, but the rest of it is Japtastic.

How funky are these inside? my mate was looking at one of these but went for the poxy Grand Voyager, which is quite dull inside:(

The tints are factory standard fit to these.

Interior is typically Jap, nothing particularly amazing but nicely put together and everything is just where you want it. Dash is pretty cool, with the dials in the centre but facing the driver.

What equipment do you get that makes these so attractive?

Electric everything, dual-zone climate control, driver and passenger airbags, privacy glass as standard, cruise control, hot/cool box and probably some more stuff I've forgotten about. Obviously all this is on top of the 'usual' stuff like ABS, immobiliser/alarm remote central locking etc.

It's not just the spec, it's the fact that they are bigger than stuff like Galaxys, with a nice sized boot despite having 8 seats.

Have you got any pics of the interior?

I didn't take any of my particular one, but here is a pic I found on google:

Mine is pretty much identical to that, but in a lighter grey and the second set of seats are the same as the rears, not the 'captain seats' in that pic.
