Have to agree. A few of my friends who have just gotten into gaming, play Call of Duty 4 on the 360. And after a few weeks convinced me to trade in my PC copy for the 360 version.
I haven't played much compared to the PC. But I already hate the that I can't pick and choose the servers I like. The fact the host can just end the game whenever he/she wants, usually when they're losing. Having to pay Microsoft to even play the game online, makes me feel a little sick inside.
360 as awhole is pretty good, but the online side has a lot of catching up compared to the PC in my eyes.
