Your montly petrol costs

dont really know monthly. but i have done £150+ a day a couple of times in the last few months. either track days so a couple of tanks in the same car, or i know i have once gone out in all three cars on the same day and they have all needed a fill up!

Epic bump to see how much peoples costs have gone up since the last posts.

150 Mile a week for me works out about £20-25 a week 35MPG just seems a bit low with the type of driving im doing Motorway/Slight Urban out of a 1.6 Petrol. I tend not to drive like a nutter either.

About £80-£100 a month currently. Due to rise when I get a new motor.

£300per month roughly with travel to work and private mileage.

Our mileage rate is 15p per mile for any business mileage which can be another £100-£200 per month depening on where I am going etc and I then have to claim it back so I am usually out of pocket for 2-3 weeks.

~£200 a month probably but I have a 50 mile round trip to work and anyway you cut it its not an economy friendly way of getting there.

For me it's a 30 mile round trip a day.

Works out just under a fiver a day.

Getting a bus there would cost a good deal more and I'd have to board multiple buses. So still works out better than smelly public transport.

Since having the Mini, the costs have gone down slightly, as i'm getting the same mileage out of £40 instead of £50 odd when I was filling the Folk-Arse up.

But I am still spending about £150 a month on Petrol, Get between 38-40mpg, even when ragging it.

Yeah fortunately my car is being very frugal with the juices atm, my last tank saw 41mpg :O thats massive for me lol I'm so used to seeing high 20s occassionally low 30s that the climb through the last few to mid 30s and now ~40ish is quite pleasant.

There is no direct way for me to get around on public transport. I could get a bus to town, a train to didcot parkway then another bus to milton park but thats long and I can't stand buses.

I found a receipt from about a few years back.

£20 got me just over 21 litres. Today at tesco it got me 16.8

I'm seriously emo :(

Wasn't impressed last night, £45 to fill the micra (the S3 is about £80 or so now), still at least I'm not spending a fortune trundling to and from work.

about £100 a month and its dropped from £150 due to me biking to work on a dry day 20 mile round trip

Currently about 2 or 3 tanks per week, so say £400-450. Thats business commuting and social travelling to see my gf etc.
