Too good to be true?: MOT Guarantee

I'm just skeptical of somewhere that insists they do any servicing that effectively prevents me from getting a better opinion of work required or price elsewhere without voiding my "MOT Guarantee".

MOT Guarantee? My Arse.

I fully share your opinion on this I would barely trust them to fit a tyre let alone perform any major repairs.

I just had my MOT done today (and passed ) at the bmw independent today and had I heard about this Autocentre thing yesterday I'd have likely gone with them as the nearest autocentre is less than half a mile away down the road!

Sounds like a good plan for people that don't mind being locked in, my MOT cost £50 + another £44 for a new exhaust bracket that had corroded and handbrake adjustment, they just charged a few quid each for the parts needed for those and 30 mins labour. They did this before the MOT so the car did not fail (and have to have work done after THEN a retest again like some places do).

TBH even if you are saving costs with someone like Autocentre I'd be much happier knowing that your favourite local indy is looking after your vehicle properly and having to spend a bit extra for that assurance.

Nicely run in then! - I assume you mean its done 256,000 ? (120k limit plus your excess...) - did not know Vectras would go that far....
