New wolfdale 8500 and ASUS P5E Motherboard

You will be happy with that board depending on your ram. They are quite picky about ram. My Geil Ultra PC2-6400C4 and Corsair XMS2 would'nt work in mine so i got the Ballistix instead. Fantastic clocking board and should get a Wolfdale absolutely flying.

I had nothing but lock-ups and crashes, could'nt install Windows or anything. Absolute nightmare. Tried every bios that was out at the time, even tried slackening off the ram timings. In the end i bought the Ballistix PC2-8500 and it worked straight away. I was just happy it worked after a few days of frustration.
