I sent my broken x1950 agp card to overclockers on monday, with guarunteed delivery before 1pm tuesday, and today (wednesday) they've said that they've shipped it for nextday delivery, so it should arrive tomorow.. i have got to hand it to overclockers on this one..... searching around the web you do find some people not pleased with overclockers customer service,.. but i have to ignore that as this is nothing short of amazing... well done and thankyou very much

Overclockers UK has always served me well. I've had an RMA turn around of about 3 days as well with them. It was with a Leadtek GeForce 6800GT a few years ago.

Seems like the service is generally good. I've only had to RMA one thing in all the years that I've been buying from OcUK and I prefer to use them because they're consistently offering competitive prices and the delivery service is probably one of the best out there - I've ordered at dinner time and had whatever I'd ordered installed in the computer by the same time the next day.

I do think occasionally they get it really wrong and I even remember them being in the reader letters section of PCZone a few years ago where someone had a disgusting experience with them and felt frustrated enough to ask a PC mag to approach them for a resolution. However this should be put perspective because I see companies like Dell, AOL, BT etc. mentioned almost weekly in the form of complaints on forums, TV, Newspapers etc.

The vast majority of OcUK customers are very happy with the service and that includes myself. Its just that when something does go wrong, people are generally more vocal about it. Which just the way it should be, you shouldn't have to praise good service unless its above and beyond the call of duty. Its a shame we live in a society where decent customer service is noteworthy rather than the norm.

Ive never had a problem with OC delivery, always had it right on time, the next day really does come perfectly on time :)

i sent my pci-e ocuk x1950pro back, they tested it (which took a week 5th-12th jan) and i am still waiting for a replacement (they sent it back to the manufacturer). i'm ok with this as long as i get a replacement, but 3 days is making me jelous :(

did you have to pay to send it back or did ocuk cover the costs?

tbh the abuse ocuk gets from other forums is purely on there past reputation for slow service or being incapable of contacting them due to congested phone lines, which was long ago

in the past 6month-1year (not really sure on time frame) the changes that have gone on have really given the place a boost, there customer service is excellent now imo

only reason my manager wont buy from here for work orders is because he sees the name and says "oh no we dont want anything to do with overclocking" ah well, old people eh? :p

I've bought a lot of stuff off them in the last 6 months and I've been really impressed, customer service is exellent. Used to use a competitor but there customer service is pretty poor.

not good, there are plenty other places out there that take the goods back at thier own expense.

ahh yes but it is over 1year old , meanign it isnt overclockers responsibility, just saphhires... in the past with my psu ocuk have offered to pick it up , it's just i choose to send them my self because its quicker

Usually, if an RMA item is covered by OcUKs warranty, it will either be collected by courier (large itmes - systems, monitors etc) or the customer posts it, then once replaced/refunded, the postage is too.
A turnaround on an RMA can take up to 7-10 days during busy periods but is often a lot quicker (i.e. the 3 days people experienced here).
