Can you dry pants in the microwave?

should be ok - depends what they are made of - cotton should be ok at that temp.

i broke my microwave last year !

tried to warm up a pair of socks, sparks flying everywhere, was lines of blue going from the side of the microwave to the sock.

Turned it off and it never turned back on!

Not if they're polyester or spandex. 50C would be a better drying temperature.

Unless you keep the oven clean they may come out smelling a bit beefy. Best consult the gf to see if this is a good thing

it sort of works.

they come out a bit similar to having been in a tumble dryer. still feel a bit damp, with loads of steam coming off of them. air them for a few seconds and they should be good to go.

on a side note, i sometimes whack my boxers in the microwave on a cold morning. feels good to put them on warm

In my experience i would say Anything is ok for 10 minutes.

a mate of mine used the university reception microwave (was let through since he asked if he can use the microwave) to dry a pair of converse shoes which was soakin wet as it was scorching it down...
it completely stunk out the microwave the metal bits on the shoes fried and adventually the smell overwhelmed the building..

amazing story huh?

oh, and the shoes were crisp dry,... so i guess you can do so

I ruined 2 pairs of boxers by leaving them in the micro for too long. They just turn crumbly and disintegrate when you touch them. Lesson learned!
