Radeon HD 3870 X2 Launch On Jan 23rd, Costs US$449

I am sure i seen some where ( might have been over at XS if not here?)that crossfirex is 4 gpu's and crossfire is 2 gpu's the limitation is in the mb chipset and 3870 x2 is seen as 2 gpu's
 
yeah - tbh if its more expensive to buy from uk than to buy from us and ship it over I will be quite a paul'ed.

Nda's are a pain in the arse, prevents people preordereing and is pretty useless anyway since the specs were leaked a while ago. We already have word of mouth for the american pricing between 400-450 so what are they not disclosing exactly? How much shaft we will receive most likely.
 
On US pricing, the HIS ATI Radeon HD 3870 XT ICEQ3 TURBO 512MB GDDR4 is $279 on the egg and £149 on Overclockers. Close enough for me.
