Payslips and P45s

One my current payslip should it include my previous pay from other companies to date for this financial year?

I swear I've seen previous jobs included e.g. when I changed from Newsquest to WCI in 2004 my WCI payment had Total YTD earnier equalling Newsquest + WCI.

I was asked to send my P45 from Keylogic to the tax office as Keylogic are a waste of space and apprently the tax figures were wrong.

But ultimately I would still expect to see total earnings to date etc..

Your payslip will only include pay from that company. Your P60 should include all pay for that year.

Arse as I'm unsure as to what my earnings for the year have been so far... I've been told I'm under paying in tax atm, yet the IR didn't want to up my tax code

Well I hope my tax works out and I hope Keylogic go bust and good bye to a shocking MS partner.....

I've already given their key accounts list to another MS Partner my mate works for..

Your payslips will include your total Gross pay and tax paid to date IF your new employer has the P45 figures from your previous employment.

Only if you've handed Previous To Date figures in (via P45) will your payslip show total gross pay/tax year to date

Well turns out the IR should have returned my P45 to me, but they haven't done. So they're looking for it and will retun it and I will then give it to SSE and see what happens

Did you work for the IR before?
If not, your previous employer should have given your own copy

No,

My previous employer refused to issue a P45 and I then spoke to the IR. They then got Keylogic to issue a P45. However the IR wanted me to send the P45 to them as they believed the info on it was incorrect.

I've got a gut feeling they were looking into Keylogic's tax affairs a bit deeper. I don't know.

Fundamentally I lodged a complaint about keylogic to the IR

do you have all your payslips?

the last payslip you got from keylogic will have your Year to Date figures on - they'll be the same as your P45.
Compare the two, if you still have a copy of them both
