"We've tailored the price but not cut on the design quality, meaning that for £15 you can get Saville Row inspired tailoring at supermarket prices"

What does that mean?

A reliant robin is INSPIRED by a Porsche just because it is a car?

HOW IN THE WORLD do you buy the materials, pay peoples wages, import it from another country, sell it for £15 yet STILL make profit?

Tesco have announced they are getting slaves to make an even cheaper suit.

YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR PEOPLE.

I bought one yesterday.

It's ok for £15, should do its job nicely. ie. sit in the cupboard hardly ever being worn until those days where i suddenly realise i need a suit at short notice. Material isn't exactly the best but the quality of stitching seems perfectly adequate.

I'm not paying £200+ for a suit that i'll hardly ever wear and probably won't even fit in a years time anyway.

They are also located in the middle of all their £50 suits which are of a noticeably better quality too, so it could just be a ploy to get people in and looking.

On a vaguely related note, where can I get half decent 'fitted' shirts. Most suck, because I need a 16" neck yet i'm not the equivalent 42" chest they assume goes with this, i'm a 36", which is a 14"1/2 neck. Where can the thick necked gentlemen get some half decent shirts that aren't tent sized? :p

It's pretty simple; it will be poorly made from poor materials.

LOL YOU CANT SAY THAT M8Y IT LOOKS WELL SMART M8Y I BOUGHT ONE AND ITS WELL SMART.

At that price I can afford to buy one, wear it once, then throw it away that evening - since I only wear suits for interviews, weddings and funerals.

Not that I would buy one though, since I am opposed to buying stuff from China.

If it means an end to people turning up at funerals in black jeans, white shirt and black sports jacket it will be a good thing.

I'm tempted to buy one just to see it - I'm afraid the fabric will give me hives tho.

Try TM Lewin, 4 for £100. Step above Next and other high street shops that charge ~£25 a shirt. :)

The actual cost to produce a suit is peanuts, so there is no reason why a £15 shouldn't be quality made...if you can go direct.
