Asda's New £15 Suit

It's ok for £15, should do its job nicely. ie. sit in the cupboard hardly ever being worn until those days where i suddenly realise i need a suit at short notice.

That's exactly what it's for.

It's polyester so it's going to wear very quickly and raost you in the summer, but if it's just for one off for people who don't usually wear suits then I'm sure it will be fine.

Obviously its going to be crap, but come on a lot of people do not need an expensive suit. Plus some of the people laughing in this thread would still look like a plonka in a suit costing 100 times more...

I'm blatantly going to get one. Its cheap, its bound to be dodgy, and besides, I'd love to know what my boss thinks.

Personally I'd definitely spend more on a suit for myself, but I really don't see why people get funny about this kind of thing. It's clothing that a lot of people will hardly ever wear and normally at events where fashion is the last thing on people's minds. I've never looked at someone in a suit and though to myself "Is that a cheap Asda suit?", I normally have better things to think about rather than put myself on some kind of smug pedestal.

Who does that?

Some of your comments in previous threads could easily be misinterpreted like this one, which comes across as being along a similar vein.

I wouldn't buy a £15 suit for work or expect it to last more than a couple of wearings but I'd certainly consider it for a themed night out where I knew there was a chance it would get wrecked. Sometimes it is just fun to buy some clothes for a single night and not care whether they get ruined or not.
