how often do you change your toilet?

yeh it just seems like if you have a toilet then you dont need to get a new one etc , why do we think like this, maybe its the same for other aplliances like cooker , hoover , fridge , bath, sinks etc
why do all these feel like they can last forever?

would have thought they change it whenever they change their bathroom suite and surely a well kept loo can last for ages especially the modern loos with better protection of whatever they have done to help stop limescale/dirt sticking.

Generally you only need a new toilet when the old one breaks which is years and years, or when you replace the bath, sink, etc.

Why would you need to replace it otherwise?

I've replaced the loo seat (did it last month actually), but would only replace the rest if it broke or the suite was changed (and I've already changed the suite once).

I change mine every month, usually after a particularly rancid crap. Some of my excrement has been known to burn it's way through the floor and drop multiple stories like hot molten magma.
