Hi all,

I've managed to find a Silverstone Temjin TJ07 case and I can have it within 2 days with the window panel pre-installed so it's slightly cheaper, just over £200. I'm planning to build my PC within the next 3 months but I'm thinking I should get the case now due to the fact they are quite difficult to get hold of.

My question is, will there be anything better coming out within the next few months or should I get this now as it's a superb case for water cooling?

Thanks all,

RoEy

Personally, I'd never spend £200 on a case.. I'd put everything in a cardboard box, and spend the extra £200 on another graphics card :P

But seriously - if you're thinking about spending that much money on a case, then you already know if you want it or not ;)

I use a Coolermaster RC-1000 Cosmos, I mounted a triple rad on the roof and there is still room for one on the back, Its a full sized tower though so its a bit on the big side.

If you want to fit in large graphics cards its the dog ********, lots of room.

The TJ07 is one of the friendliest watercooling cases out there because you can accommodate a 360 in the bottom section.

I would personally go for a V2000 because its actually got much more room in the bottom!

vote for a v2000 here, my v1000 is lovely and hoping to cram some wc in this week, however I know a few v2000 builds and theres so many more options. :)

It is quite a bit bigger yeah, for instance the bottom compartment (compared to a v1000) is double height, best to check out lian li's website for exact figures and some handy pictures :)

If you cant buy one new you can easily get them personally cut. (im off to enquire about getting a roof hole and side panel cut for my v1000)

IMO its one of the nicest looking cases out :P

Well thanks for the advice, I'm still in favour of the Silverstone TJ07 though. Just looks perfect for what I want.

Thanks again lads,

RoEy

V2000 gets my vote :-)

I prefer the tj07 but the v2000 comes a very close second. The 92mm fans in the tj07 are a major minus point though.

i went from a V2000 to a mountain mods ufo for my watercooling case and i can safely say i will probably not buy another case for years and years.
