Newcastle/Bolton game is poor so far, okay Newcastle have a fair few players missing today but still.

Sounds like they're playing the same way that they were playing under Allardyce.

Keane is the most underrated player in the Premiership. A thread ran on OCuk to name everyone's team of 2007. Only about 3 people included Keane in their team despite him scoring the more Premiership goals than any other player in 2007. His assist record is excellent and he tracks back to defend too. Even when Spurs where rubbish earlier this season, he was consistently giving 110%. I'd happily take a team of Robbie Keanes.

It was great at the end of the match when Robbie Keane scored. Everyone was singing "There's only one Keane-o". Must have ****ed off Roy a bit. :D

Don't know how Sunderland didn't score in the 2nd half though. I'm going to have to watch MOTD tonight because I don't see how the ball stayed out of the Tottenham net. There were at least a hundred goal mouth scrambles.

It was a joke, I'm not saying he's a crap player... simply that he'd be terrible in defence/goal and probably not that great in midfield. Hence the joke of loaning John O'Shea to have in goal ;)

Looks like went straight over your head though :p
 
I'm really surprised that Keane never seems to get linked with any big money moves when teams are looking for strikers. Berbatov and Defoe are in the papers on a daily basis but for me Keane is at least as good. Not that i'm saying he would want to leave Spurs but he just seems to be overlooked by the 'Big Four'

He had a big move abroad from coventry, then to leeds, its only at spurs that he has really kicked on.

Plus, he has only really hit it off with Berbatov, before that Spurs fans and others would bemoan his finishing and passing.

He's a player that needs a partner up front to get the best from him.

I think i would quite like to see him at Man Utd. We could do with another striker and he would make more sense than Berbatov. Never going to happen obviously but still!
