beards cool or not?

4 days is the longest i'll go, 1-2 days I like it, day 3 shave off the lamb choppy parts or you look like a John McCruik wannabe, so its a bit more "moulded" Day 4, having dark brown hair, and VERY fast growing black facial hair, it looks too black, and makes you look like a gippo or even worse, one of the inbred freaks from Emmerdale!

What about those of us who are 20 but look about 14 years old without a beard and so get IDd everywhere for everything unless they have a beard whereby all IDing stops totally?
If the inconvenience of getting your ID out outweighs the problems of looking like you've glued fluff to your chin then by all means go for it.
I'm like that, I'm 22 but look about 8. My dignity is worth the inconvenience of pulling out my ID occasionally. I'd never lower myself to the realms of bearddom until I'm at least 45 because until then any facial hair will look more like pubic hair as it does on almost every younger person apart from blacks and Arabs / Indians.What about those of us who are 20 but look about 14 years old without a beard and so get IDd everywhere for everything unless they have a beard whereby all IDing stops totally?

well i'm 33 and my GF(24) loves it gets her all horny was the reason i grew it as she pestered me too now i have i quite like it
Wonder if your gf and her friends have bets on what they can make thier partners do that "makes them horny!"

In all seriousness, I've been bearded in some way shape or form for about 4 or 5 years, I'd feel very strange without it. I last had a wet shave on NYE 2006 for a fancy dress, never again!
