Laing D5 Vario keeps stopping works for a few seconds then just stops.

Does it sound faulty beyond repair ?

How is it powered?

Power supply as far as i know.

I noticed this with mine a couple of weeks back. I've got mine hooked up to a fan controller, so it starts beeping the second the pump shuts off.

I think i've narrowed it down to the wire coming out of the pump, or the wires going into the molex. Basically, try and secure them and keep them in the same place. Wiggling them around a little will usually get the pump started again, or just go straight for the power switch if you want.

If it continues or becomes a problem for me, I'll be getting it replaced/repairs w/e, guess he should just keep a close eye on it and do the same

It doesn't matter now thanks as i just spoke to him and it's a pump at ebay not a pump he owns.

I've seen that as well and from what's described it not repairable as the controller circuit is gone. Might be worth have for the impella.
