Sorry i know its really early!

Group of friends are planning on going somewhere end of june/early july for 2-3 weeks.

Due to end of year exams and the like, we want to get it sorted as early as possible.

We are trying to decide where to go, requirements are really;

Beach
Hot (obviously :p)
A lot of things to do, fishing, swimming, boating, hiking etc
Not too 'touristy', Greece etc
Possibly Villa accomodation
Night Life

We're sort of wanting it to be in Europe, but we are all leaning towards Maldives :p.

Other places we are thinking of is Southern France, Spain and Portugal.

Anywhere you guys have been that you may recommend?

Reason for Maldives is its generally not too busy, and is an amazing looking place.

Also looking at Menorca.

Thanks for any help here :).

Menorca is more geared towards younger kids, and older couples with most holidays, although it might have changed I'd rule that out.

What about night life?

Forgot the most obvious one, night life.

Wanting to have fun for 2ish weeks, good break from having 6th Form etc, clubs and just a lot of activities to do really!

Wanting to have the chance to relax, have fun etc - which is i gues Turkey/Greece, but trying to not go there.

Crikey your in 6th form and can afford the Maldives?

Would your parents like to adopt me?

The Maldives are very expensive indeed, seriously expensive in fact.

You thought about Eilat? Great weather, good for all the activities you mentioned, plenty of night-life and as a bonus the Israeli girls are stunning.

Was thinking about the InterRail thing too, which you can visit i think 22 countries in europe. Or something like that, but i think we'd more like to stay in one place, and just enjoy ourselves really.

And we've all saved up a fair bit, and still got time to go till we are leaving, so always more money by then too :).

I went to Lanzarote for 2 weeks in the summer, it was class, there were probably lots of walking, fishing, boating and hiking to do, what with the volcanoes and scorching hot black sand beaches but we were almost nocturnal after eating out every night and getting in at 5 most mornings, full of irish, good times. I'd recommend puerto del carmen.

You know how busy it'll be around late June to July? Hoping we'll miss a lot of the English who'd leave as families around end of July.

It depends what you can afford. I recommend peru for hiking and fishing and not many tourists (except machu pichu) but it's fairly expensive...

Anyone recommend any other nice beaches & areas?

A place like Maldives is perfect, so any cheaper (closer) places would be ideal :p.

Anyone been to any beaches in southern france?

All beaches in southern france are nice (no pun intended) - cote d'azure - also going canoeing/kayacking in the gorges de tarn or gorges de l'Ardèche is awesome.

We went to tenerife last year. Stayed in Costa Adeje. It was nice and peaceful where we stayed and was about a 15minute walk to all the clubs.

most of the south of france has pebble beaches. stayed near nice - was nice but not much nightlife. more for shopping and chilling than partying!
